REAKTION UND KLARSTELLUNG

Heute Abend (Samstag) gegen 22:15 Uhr haben die Nürnberg Rams auf unser Statement vom Mittwoch reagiert und ebenfalls eine Stellungnahme verfasst. Diese können und wollen wir nicht unkommentiert lassen. Im folgenden Text gehen wir darauf ein:

Die Aufarbeitung der Ereignisse betrifft aus unserer Sicht ausschließlich das Präsidium, einzelne Funktionsträger und den Headcoach! In keinster Weise möchten wir Spieler, Coaches, Staff, Fans oder andere Teams der Rams in ein schlechtes Licht rücken. Wir begegnen ihnen und ihrer ehrenamtlichen Arbeit wie auch bisher freundschaftlich und respektvoll und freuen uns, mit ihnen die Football-Family zu bereichern und mit Leben zu erfüllen.
Wir nehmen zur Kenntnis, dass der Präsident der Nürnberg Rams seine Posts rückwirkend anders bewertet. Dennoch sind wir darüber verwundert, dass es ihm bis heute nicht möglich ist, selbst dazu Stellung zu nehmen. Selbst auf Geschäftsreise ist er nämlich in der Lage, bezüglich der Amberger Stellungnahme mit anderen Vereinen und dem Ligaobmann Kontakt aufzunehmen. Da sollte eine kurze Reaktion in unsere Richtung schon auch möglich sein.

Die Chronologie der Ereignisse, wie sie auf der Seite der Rams beschrieben wird, ist, was Daten angeht korrekt. Allerdings vergessen die Verfasser des Textes einen wichtigen Fakt: Wir haben uns bei der Information unserer Spieler, Coaches und des Staffs auf die Entscheidung von Montagabend bezogen – da lag der Termin schon nicht mehr in den Händen der Rams, sondern bereits beim Ligaobmann. Außerdem stellen wir nochmal fest, dass zwischen der Erstinformation am Mittwochnachmittag und der Veröffentlichung des Spiels auf den Social-Media-Plattformen am Dienstag um 14 Uhr keinerlei Kommunikation mehr an uns erfolgt ist – auch keine Antworten auf unsere Fragen an die offizielle Emailadresse des Nürnberger Vereins. Unseres Wissens nach gab es bis zu diesem Zeitpunkt auch keine Kommunikation mit dem dafür zuständigen Ligaobmann.

Die Aussage, das Spiel in der jetzt geplanten Form durchzuführen sei politisch motiviert, ist keine Unterstellung, sondern ein Zitat unseres Ansprechpartners bei den Rams. Sollte das so nicht korrekt sein, bitten wir, auch hier an der Kommunikation zu arbeiten.
Das Argument der Zeitnot kann, bei der der Veröffentlichung der Verlegung, nicht gelten. Zum einen gebieten es die bekannten internen Prozesse, die Liga und den Gegner zuerst zu informieren. Zum anderen können die Texte und Grafiken nicht lange im Voraus produziert worden sein – wenn die Entscheidung über den neuen Ort so kurzfristig gefallen ist.
Wir werden, nach Rücksprache mit dem Ligaobmann den kompletten Mailverlauf und die Anruflisten veröffentlichen. Kein Problem.

Im letzten Absatz wird es nun diffiziler:

Korrekt ist: Wir haben auf die sportlichen Strafen des Nürnberger Headcoaches hingewiesen. Wir wurden in einem Telefonat mit dem Ligaobmann, in dem er sämtliche Punkte unserer ersten Stellungnahme bestätigt (was er auch den Rams mitgeteilt hat) gebeten, auf die Erwähnung von Strafen zu verzichten. Zwar sei auch das inhaltlich korrekt gewesen, jedoch hätten alle Teams immer Strafen in jedem Spiel. Diesem Wunsch des Ligaobmanns kommen wir künftig gerne nach.

Warum hier einzelne, völlig normale Reaktionen auf sportliche oder organisatorische Notfälle von Gegnern aufgezählt werden, können wir nicht nachvollziehen – das sollte in der Sportwelt völlig normal sein.

Zu dem anderen angesprochenen Vorfall halten wir ausdrücklich fest: Es gab oder gibt keinen Kommentar von den Amberg Mad Bulldogs, eines Funktionsträgers oder eines Mitglieds, der darauf anspielt. Den einzigen Kommentar dazu gab es von einem Follower. Diesen haben wir umgehend nach Kenntnis offline gestellt (nicht gelöscht, sondern verborgen, um die Transparenz zu wahren. Verborgene Kommentare können ausschließlich von Seiteninhaber und von den beteiligten Personen weiterhin gelesen werden). Allerdings weisen wir ausdrücklich darauf hin, dass Mitglieder aus dem Vorstand der Nürnberg Rams noch in der Nacht von Dienstag auf Mittwoch befreundete Vereine persönlich kontaktiert haben, um den angesprochenen Vorfall ins Gedächtnis zu rufen. Auch wir stellen aber fest, dass dieser Vorfall, der beide Seiten betrifft, final mit dem AFVBY geklärt wurde.

Richtig ist, dass die vergangenen Tage hitzig waren. Allerdings trug dazu maßgeblich die Tatsache bei, dass Funktionsträger der Rams unsere Beiträge kommentiert haben, ohne als solche erkenntlich zu sein. Die Netiquette gebietet das eigentlich. Auch dass der Headcoach unseren Spielern anbietet, sie nach Nürnberg holen zu wollen, um ihnen Footballspielen beizubringen, ist da nicht förderlich und auch nicht, uns als Little Bros zu bezeichnen.

Abschließend halten wir fest, dass wir irritiert sind, nach drei Tagen eine solch fehlerhafte Reaktion zu veröffentlichen. Auch, dass diese Veröffentlichung in den sozialen Medien nach 22 Uhr erfolgt, entspricht nicht dem eigenen Anspruch, die Situation zu entspannen. Das hat uns unter Druck gesetzt, dem wir dank professioneller Strukturen und einer reibungslosen internen Kommunikation aber standhalten.

Auch wir freuen uns auf das Spiel morgen.

This evening (Saturday) around 10:15 PM, the Nürnberg Rams responded to our statement from Wednesday and issued their own statement. We cannot and do not want to leave this uncommented. In the following text, we address this:

In our view, the review of events concerns only the board, specific officials, and the head coach! We have no intention of casting players, coaches, staff, fans, or other teams of the Rams in a negative light. We continue to approach them and their voluntary work with the same friendship and respect as before and are happy to contribute to and enrich the football family together.
We acknowledge that the president of the Nürnberg Rams now retrospectively views his posts differently. Nevertheless, we are surprised that he is still unable to comment on this directly. Even while on a business trip, he is capable of contacting other clubs and the league chairman regarding Amberg’s statement. Therefore, a brief response in our direction should certainly be possible.
The chronology of events as described on the Rams’ page is accurate in terms of dates. However, the authors of the text omit an important fact: when informing our players, coaches, and staff, we were referring to the decision made on Monday evening—at that point, the scheduling was no longer in the Rams' hands but had already been passed to the league chairman. Furthermore, we emphasize that between the initial information on Wednesday afternoon and the announcement of the game on social media platforms on Tuesday at 2 PM, there was no further communication with us—no responses to our inquiries sent to the official email address of the Nürnberg club. To our knowledge, there was also no communication with the responsible league chairman up to that point.
The statement that the game in its currently planned form is politically motivated is not an accusation but a quote from our contact at the Rams. If this is incorrect, we ask that communication in this regard be improved.
The argument of time constraints does not hold when it comes to the publication of the rescheduling. Firstly, established internal processes dictate that the league and the opponent must be informed first. Secondly, the texts and graphics could not have been produced far in advance if the decision about the new location was made on such short notice.
After consulting with the league chairman, we will publish the entire email correspondence and call logs. No problem.

The last paragraph becomes more complex:

It is true that we pointed out the sporting penalties imposed on the Nürnberg head coach. During a phone call with the league chairman, in which he confirmed all the points of our first statement (which he also communicated to the Rams), we were asked to refrain from mentioning penalties. Although this was also factually correct, all teams incur penalties in every game. We will gladly comply with the league chairman’s request in the future.
We do not understand why individual, completely normal reactions to sporting or organizational emergencies from opponents are listed here—this should be entirely normal in the sports world.
Regarding the other incident mentioned, we explicitly state: There was and is no comment from the Amberg Mad Bulldogs, any official, or any member, implying anything about it. The only comment on this matter came from a follower. We immediately took it offline upon learning of it (not deleted, but hidden, to maintain transparency. Hidden comments can only be seen by the page owner and the involved persons). However, we explicitly point out that members of the Nürnberg Rams board personally contacted allied clubs late Tuesday night into Wednesday to bring up the incident. We also note that this incident, which affects both sides, was ultimately resolved with the AFVBY.
It is true that the past few days have been heated. However, this was largely due to the fact that Rams officials commented on our posts without identifying themselves as such. Netiquette actually requires this. Also, the head coach offering to bring our players to Nürnberg to teach them how to play football is not helpful, nor is referring to us as “Little Bros.”

In conclusion, we note that we are puzzled by the release of such an erroneous response after three days. Also, the fact that this release was posted on social media after 10 PM does not align with the intention of de-escalating the situation. This has put pressure on us, but thanks to professional structures and smooth internal communication, we have been able to withstand it.

We, too, are looking forward to tomorrow's game.
